The California State PTA is lobbying heavily against the budget cuts to education. It is one of the strongest lobbying groups working against the cuts. Its strength is due to the size of its membership. But this year, there are less than 1 million PTA members state-wide. It would be a lot more powerful if the CA PTA could say "we have more than a million members, and we will not accept these cuts." But that can't be said at the moment.
Join the BAM PTA now and help the fight to stop the state budget cuts! To join, download this form.
